Would have to be out of the E36 3-Series. So beautifully simplistic.

I love seeing that mpg needle swinging around down there

When I would drive my girlfriend's dad's 328i a lot, I would always either try to keep it near 40, or get it as close to 8 as possible.

I think the person only has the lights on, so the little display doesn't come on. I dunno, not my picture, but I sure wish it was. Love me some E36. Still need to get the black on black 328i w/sport package my girlfriend's dad has away from him.

Yes, you should get that.

I've seen it referred to as the fun gauge. It's either >50L/100km, and you're having fun, or 10L/100km and you're not having fun.

I'd rather see my oil pressure, because either I'm cruising in 5th gear and don't need to see my mileage or I'm trying to thrash the wheels off the car and don't give a shit about the mileage.

I don't even care that it's an automatic. It's in factory condition. Even though it was in an accident. But he paid good money to fix it right.

Watch out for black ice kids! And trees. How the airbags didn't go off, I don't know.

The other day driving home at night, I was feeling relaxed as I looked down at my old Accord's turquoise-colored gauges. What's interesting is the psychology behind colors and why BMW and Audi chose for theirs to light up red or orange-ish at night, knowing that cooler colors are often associated to have a calming, relaxing effect.

I guess it's about driving passion and alertness. Also can possibly explain why many drive like douchebags.

Get it! A nice condition auto would make for a decent manual trade later in life...

The only problem is the old man won't sell it! Even though it literally sits in their driveway 80% of the time. He only paid $1000 for it.

Aww yeah, I bury that mpg needle all the way to the right every day.
